• A Clevis/Nubbin is used to loosely join parts by means of a bolt or pin passing through the ends of the connector.
• H-Clevis
  • An H-Clevis is used to secure the rod elevators to the travelling blocks without the rod elevators hanging at an angle.
• BOP Lifting Nubbins
  • Are used to lift the BOP’s off of another truck using the elevators on the derrick, then drop the BOP’s onto the casing bowl/master valve, and finally remove them when the well service is finished.
• Safety Valve Lift Nubbins
  • Are threaded into the rig floor’s safety valve to facilitate emergency lifting of the safety during well control emergencies. Several customers use this to lift the pipe from the ground (cat walk) to the rig floor during “run in” or string make up.
• Tong Lifters
  • During pipe handling processes, this is used to link the power tongs to the derrick’s hoisting mechanism.
